James brings a wealth of leadership and military experience to his role as Director of Military Government Partnerships at Norwich University, a position he has held since April 2023. In this capacity, James plays a critical role in developing and managing partnerships that enhance educational opportunities for military-connected students and veterans. Before embarking on his journey at Norwich University, James retired from a remarkable 33-year career in the U.S. Army. He began his military journey by enlisting as a Military Police Soldier, quickly proving his leadership abilities in various capacities. Among his key assignments were positions at the United States Army Military Police School, the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood, the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division, and the Army Corrections Command.
